First day. Second Semester. Fall 2006
Today honestly sucked. It really sucked from the get go. I started off my day by leaving the house five minute later than I planned. I think that should have foreshadowed an unpleasant day ahead for me, but I failed to see the signs. I was trying to be optimistic!
Sadly, I think Cooley might be one of the more pleasant classes of my day. Does that tell you something?
Psych is okay. My class seems kind of lively, and the curriculum itself is interesting anyway.

Okay lets just jump to the event that ruined my day.
SOMEONE SNIPPED MY SEAT IN SCHWARZ.
I know what you're all thinking. It's just a seat right? NO. You are wrong. WRONG. I honestly believe that I had the single best seat in the class for three reasons. 1. Schwarz lectures right in front of me, sometimes even over my head. It's impossible to not pay attention. 2. It has perfect view of the whiteboard. You don't have to crank your neck too bad to see the notes that Schwarz writes. 3. It probably has the best view of Schwarz. Easiest to see him lecture, and easiest to just look at him. (haha)
I'm outraged. I don't think I'll be able to let this seat thing go until after this semester is over. I even went to class early to ensure that I would get that seat again!
Let me paint a picture of this for you guys
Karen and I walk from the art wing to the main building. I tell her I'm nervous about Schwarz's class because there seems to be quite a few drastic changes. I was standing in front of class, at least 5 minutes before it started, waiting for Michels's Econ class to exit. The last person in Michels's class leaves, and I make my way to the door. I see this white girl in front of me. She was in Michels's class last semester and sat in my seat in that class. I figured she was just hanging out there. I stand there for a few seconds and I eventually ask her if she's sitting there. She says yes. I was in shock. I just stared at her and started to panic. Where would I sit? I decide to sit in the seat in front of her, but realize that I would have to completely turn my body to be able to see the board. At that point, I’m upset. I quickly move to a seat to the right of where I was sitting. I wasn't happy, but it was better than the other seat. Most of the rest of the class had already filled in the other seats so I was trapped. Now I'm stuck in that miserable seat for the rest of the semester.
I know it sounds ridiculous, but I don't think I'm going to do very well this semester because of it. I could hardly take notes in class today.
I honestly hate that girl. I don't even care who she is. She is getting in the way of my learning. Get this though. She's a senior that flunked APUSH 2. Why would you take it again with Schwarz? You're not getting an A. You're not going to take the AP test. DIE. She doesn't even need to sit in that seat. She doesn't NEED to learn! The worse part is that she saved a seat for her friend, so I couldn't even get that seat! Her friend has the next best seat in the class.
I feel really shitty right now. I can't get myself to let this go.
This semester did not start well.
I'm very apprehensive about my classmates in all my classes.
I HATE change.
