7.5.2003 [Re Cap]: Pga
I woke up around 7 and got ready to go to Eliza's at 8. I packed my cd player, but I was rushing so I forgot to bring a damn cd. I'm such an idiot. Got to Eliza's house late because my father was being lazy. Eliza'a father took two trips to drive us to Eliza's church where we were meeting up some other people in her church group and Dennis her pastor person thingie I think. We went to pick some other people up in a big old red church van. I had nothing to listen to in the car so I was pretty bored. Picked up some girl Josephine or something, didn't talk to her at all or I don't know her name and Ben this 21 year old guy that looks 17 I swear Or at least like 18. We met up with the rest of the people at Pga. Stood in front for a while while Ben got tickets and all of that shit. Probably tanned a little there. haha. The first ride we went on was Stealth. When we first got there, the park was pretty empty. That was nice. The line for Stealth was pretty short too. It was a fun ass ride. We actually rode it twice!! Eliza says that that's pretty rare since the lines for Stealth is always really long. Then we rode Top Gun which isn't even fun for me anymore. -__- Then everyone except me Shanny, Amanda. Ben, and Mina [i think] went on Drop Zone. After that we rode Invertigo. Now that ride was FUN. All that spinning around really fast was FUNN. It was like 12ish so we went to go eat lunch. The food there wasn't that appealing to begin with so when we had to eat in the freaking sun with WHITE TABLES [that hella hurt your eyes when you look at it], me, Eliza, and Dennis lost our appetites. There was this table with people who weren't eating anything that looked like they were gonna get up, so me and Dennis were like eyeing the table. Right when they started to get up, Dennis ran and "dove" for the table. It was hilarious because the people looked at him hella weird. He did the same for this other table near ours. Dennis is 25! And he's like just as weird as us. I think that's sooo cool. After lunch, we went to ride Revolution which is that boat ride where you spin around. Probably a bad choice since we just ate but oh well. It was pretty fun. Not really thrilling though. It was really really hott so we went to go watch the Spongebob 3-D thing. We waited for a pretty long time but it was pretty worth it considering I already saw it. Dennis was entertaining us with the Elmo that I won Eliza and this duck thing. He's a funny ass guy that I think Ernast would LOVE. I forgot when, but Dennis did that guess your age thing 3 times. He looks really young so they thought he was 18 twice and one time 21. We went on that tire ride thing and some piece of shit squirted us with water. We got TOTALLY drenched. And some people laughed at us, and I automatically flicked them off. When I was walking out of the ride they saw me and were like "Hey. You're the girl that flicked us off". Nice eh?! We stood there a while to dry off then we went to the bathroom for me and Kristie to change into something dry. Then some of us went back to the van to drop our some stuff off. We met up some other people so we went on Stealth for the second time. We were so freaking tired by that time. Me and Connie didn't scream. I think she could have fallen asleep and I was just chillen there looking around. That was the last ride we went on. We went to get funnel cake and we ended up staying in that spot for about an hour + waiting for other people. I think we saw Nina Crapsmello [Castello]. Stupid Andrew was checking her out. UGH. Amanda went to go get a pickle and when she got back to that spot, two people came up to her and asked her where she got it. The black lady that came up to her was hella funny. She was like.. "where did you get that pickle? I've been looking for it all day".. then a few seconds later she screamed to her friend "yo!! I found the pickle!!" hahaha. Dennis was so crakin on Amanda for that. FUnnnn! Then me, Connie, Kristie, Eliza and some other people I dunno names of got pickles too. SO GOOD. I ate mine faster than Kristie because she's a slow poke! =] The people who went off to play games finally came back to meet us up and then we left. We went to In-n-Out. I just got a soda because I was too tired to eat. Eliza went to order food for them so me and Ben stole her seat. He's freakin nice manG. I think he's the only one that actually talked to us. He even helped Shanny get Ketchup when she asked Kristie to. At In-n-Out we talked about the book "The Kitchen God's Wife" which led us to talk about China and how there were more boys in China than girls. After we ate, we went home. Connie was sleeping on Andrew. Andrew was sleeping with his head tilted back. Shannon slept on Andrew. and Amanda slept on Shannon. It was kinda cute. Eliza slept and woke up because someone called her. I was awake the whole time staring forward and thinking. Kristie was awake and so was Cary. After a little while I asked Eliza to ask Dennis about Darwinism because I over heard him talking about it with Eliza's cuzzo Aimee. That was some interesting ass shit because I woke up right away. We also asked about Mormans and the difference between Catholicism and Christianity. I learned alot in like 30 min. haha. We all got dropped off at Eliza's house because we didn't wanna bother Dennis anymore than we did by tagging along with them to Pga. We chilled at Eliza's house talking about our Parental issues. Me, ELiza and Connie seemed to have laughed the most at each other. I fell off my chair like twice. My day ended on such a good note. Shanny's father gave me, Kristie and Amanda rides home. I jump into the shower right when I got home and then went online a little to chat, while waiting for my hair to dry.
What Dennis talked about was pretty much Evolution vs Creationism. I either found out, or got reminded that Evolution is a theory. And I guess I was so thrown off because it was set in my mind that there was alot of proof for Darwin's theory on evolution. It turns out that there isn't. Dennis says that there is no way to prove macro evolution. But there is proof for micro evolution which Darwin based his theories on macro evolution [Evolution]. So I guess I don't know what to think now. I don't really believe in Creationism or Evolution. So I guess I lost the reason why all of us are alive. Feels kind of empty.. Since it's summer and everything and I have a lot of spare time, I'm gonna look up more stuff on Evolution and I kinda wanna read the bible. Or at least attempt to read parts of it. Also.. Dennis brought up the point that people who claim to have a certain relgion might not know anything about it at all. And I guess I'm one of those people. I don't know much about Buddhism but I feel that it has alot of good points just like Christianity. It's not about insense like Dennis stereotyped. It's about living a clean life and learning to rid yourself of materialistic things and try to reach nirvana[ernast haha]. But that's about all I know. hah Pathetic ness. Well at least I have the rest of summer to reach some kind of conclusion... man this is a long ass post.
