" God created man and women to be together, and any way other than that is wrong. " - Allison Kwong, Agape President, senior
Well yesterday was of course GSA and I found out that the quote stated above was found in the Lowell.. Can you really believe that someone would say that? It's just as bad as saying that being gay is bad, and for being gay you're going to go to hell. I think I read somewhere that you will go to heaven through faith only and nothing else really matters. So what does being gay have to do with going to heaven? Gay people are good too, they go to church, they volunteer, they do plenty of good deeds. Okay I got sidetracked from my point though. My point is.. that the Agape president shouldn't have said that even if that's what she believes since there are some gay people at Lowell. And the people in GSA were just so offended. And frankly I totally feel for them. What kind of educated person would say such a thing? Anyone with a brain would know that saying something like this would lead to controversy! COME ON NOW. We're at LOWELL, WE AREN'T EXACTLY STUPID! BLAH!! I wish I'd joined GSA earlier.. blah. I didn't even understand what they were saying until I asked them about the story in which the quote was printed. FUCKING SHIT MAN. I got the newspaper today!! 5 days after everyone else. I don't really know if I'm being too obsessive, but I can't help talking about this issue. WHY WOULD SOMEONE BE SO RUDE AND SAY SUCH THINGS?! ARGH. Those things really hurt people's feelings and ARGH she just needs to apologize shiet. Also.. It's absolutely stupid why gay people can't get married in CA. Sexual discrimination is just as any other type of discrimination. dah. I was just blarh. And in case anyone actually runs across this page, and reads this article, I am not gay. I'm totally straight. Angela said that her mom said.. " You don't know if she's really gay or not. " Because I asked Angela to join GSA with us. haha. So far, I only got Chris with me.
