I like stability

I'll do a quick recap first, then add in my feelings.

Thursday- 8/05 HAPPY BIRTHDAY MR. GARY WU
I had work like every other day. We went to the garden at Koshland Park to plant beans and potatoes and picked some collard greens. Got back to Latchkey and then I left at 1 (the time I'm supposed to end work) for the first time in a WHILE. (Yes, I like them so damn much that I like to stay longer xP) I took the bus to B to print out some pictures for Linda, my supervisor. I haven't talked about her too much because she is like any supervisor, except she tells all these stories that I can't repeat in here due to my short term memory being crap. I went home to pick up a CD that had more pictures and headed over to Walgreens, hoping to print out pictures there while buying Tammie some rollers for her birthday present. The whole photo center at Walgreens was either being remodeled, or they're taking it out. Either way, the photo center was not available. I was angry, so I went to check out the rollers at Rite Aid. While I was at it, I got some Twix, Reeses, and Cream Savers for the kids. The photo center at Rite Aid was insanely expensive! I dont know what they're smoking, charging about 1 per picture. SHIET. Pressed for time, I still headed back to Kinkos and printed out some more pictures. In total, I printed out 14 pictures that totaled up to about 10 dollars. Expensive? CHYEA. I went and caught the 38 toBto see if I could get a 6 pack of coke bottles for Robin. Turns out, they were going to restock everything the next day. GR -__- I had no time left to check other places so I rushed back to the bus stop and headed home. Good thing too, because Tammie called and said she was leaving to come to my house by the time I got off the bus. I ran home, got ready, and then Tammie came. Chilled for like two seconds, then went to meet up everyone else at 33rd and Geary. We took the bus to the secret place for dinner and we blind folded her at about arguello street. We bussed it down to van ness and took the 47 to fisherman's warf. Keep in mind that she was blind folded all the way to the resturant, BUBBA GUMP SHRIMP!

We all think Tammie could kind of see through the blind fold because she knew where we were going the whole time.. O_O grr. But it was still fun. Plenty of people stared and the black bus driver was totally making a big deal out of it. I LOVED IT, and I hope she did too. We met up Scott, Eric, and Shannon at the place and then Eliza met us up too. Got a table after taking loads of pictures outside and chyeaa. There were two tables because there was no way there was one table big enough to seat 13. While we waited for our orders, Tammie opened her presents. I gotta say, she got some pretty good gifts. hahaha I made up the rule that every present needed a gift receipt with it. Wait, I broke my own rule! puhahahaha. I sat at a table with Cj, Eliza, Tambo, and Nasty. OH by the way, I told the waiter to give us a kid's menu for Nasty. w00t :) He seemed to enjoy it too. Everyone at our table got the same drink because Tammie ordered some shit called Lotsa Lava. GOOD STUFF THOUGH! Coconut, Strawberry, and Pineapple I believe. We took plenty of pictures while we were there. After we finished eating, the waiters called Tammie up and made her stand with a bowl of ice cream at her head while they told everyone in the resturant it was her birthday. :) It was really cool. She was cheesing like crazy. I really hope you had a good time Tambo! We went back, and hung out. Took pictures with our waiters. Eric even made friends with one of them. hahaha. Another detail I don't know where to add in is: We sat all the way at the end of the resturant, and there was a wall separating us and the kitchen way I guess. Well, every time the waiters come and go from the wall to the path out behind the wall, they have to call corner. I was smart enough to figure that one out :) We got so friendly with our waiters that we called out CORNER for them too. I think that was the best birthday thing I've ever been to. We finally finished and the waiters kicked us out. I left my memory card there and I swear it was fate. Eric had given our waiter his number so the waiter could call Eric up and buy his Michigan jersey from him later. So our waiter called Eric up and I got the memory card. GOOD SHIT. We bussed it back again, and while we were heading to the bus stop, the girls took a picture with some cops. haha The cops didn't look so happy in the picture.. On the 47 bus, I made Tammie take a picture with our bus driver. I think we pissed hella people off on the bus because we were helllaaa loud. Capped on Eric and Cary as usual. SO I won't go into details about that. But somehow, when I was sitting next to Cary, the northface sticker on my ass got ripped in half. Part of it was on my leg and the other part was on his leg. Then we stuck the stickers on the poles, then switched them, and Eric was like HEY there's a sticker here too! But it was actually the same sticker that we switched around. It was just insanely funny. We took the 38 home and Scott went home while everyone else excluding me went to Eliza's house. They semi walked me home though.. GOOD STUFF.

When I got home, I uploaded the 63 pictures I took that day. And I called up my dad to get me 7 cans of Coke for Robin as his gift.

Friday- My last day of paid work. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TAMBO 8/06
I was dead tired from yesterday so it was hell getting up for work. I had to shower quickstyle, and rushed to find a box to put Robin's present in. I didn't even have time to write them notes, so I just pulled something Ghetto and wrote on binder paper when I got to work. Wrote them both a nice little note and put it in with their present. I was hoping that they'd find it and open themselves, but apparently, they didnt want to touch anything that was mine.. so I had to get the pictures and give it to Linda, and dropped the box of coke in front of Robin. They both seemed to be satisfied with their present. Linda more than Robin, but he sure as hell enjoyed it at the end of the day when he drank a can of his own Pepsi then a can of coke. That guys is freaking crazyy.

The deal was that I'd stay for the whole day with Robin if he beat me at deuces. I really can't believe he beat me, but he did, and I denied it. However, Taijae, or however you spell her name, made a puppy face and asked me to stay so I did. Ricki, Robin, and I played cards for probably over an hour. We totally went hyper and crazy and couldn't control myself. I let it slip that Robin smokes and tried to cover it up by talking about ham. LOL -__-- Ricki swore like a crazy bitch next to Taijae, so I had to bribe her with candy. We were all too hyper to stay inside, so we made them clean up and took them to the park for 20 minutes where they played tag with Robin. Ricki and I went to the garden and picked stuff to eat. Raw collard greens were HELLA nasty and spicy, so of course I made Robin try some. HAHAAH. Then we went back and tried this other flower that Ricki said tasted hella nasty, so of course I tried to get Robin to eat it too. He wouldn't, so I ate it, and I didn't taste anything.. My taste buds must have been impaired by the Collard greens. We took them back and Ricki left me and Robin with the kids. Robin bribed them with chips so they would leave us alone to play speed. Old man Robin is pretty fast at speed, or maybe I just lost my touch. Either way, I still lost quite a few times. We played that until all the kids left. Jamiesha's grandma came early so we got off work at 5:20. Robin was overjoyed, but I was a bit disappointed since I had to go home and do chinese homework, and that might be the last time I get to hang out with him. I would never admit it to his face, but I'm really going to miss him. Hell, I would never admit it to the kids that I'll miss them.. but just thinking about not seeing them everyday makes me feel worse than anything. I feel like if I lose touch with Linda and Robin, it'd be like losing a friend. I mean dang, I spent more time with them than my friends this summer, so they are like my friends now.

For my own benefit, I'm going to write about both of them so I can remember who they are in the future.

Linda- There was something about her that always made me not think about any of my own problems. Every morning when I went to work, she'd always seem to have a story about her life to tell me. She's a tough ass person, maybe not physically, but she has the right mind set to survive anything that life puts her through. She's had some serious physical problems. Yet, she's always smiling and everything. I admire that the most about her. And she also really cares about the kids. She has 11 years of experience with kids and she built up a lot of tolerance for childish behavior. Critique from her was never offensive, but more like supportive. I love that about her.

Robin- I didn't meet him very early on because he took a vacation to Hawaii when I first started work. I think I met him a week before we went to Angel Island. But I never talked to him much because I worked the morning and he had the afternoons. Then when we started going on field trips, and I started to talk to him more then. I can tell he wants to and likes to keep to himself, but I need people to talk to so I just bugged him all the time. I'm sure he learned to love me. xP Probably the coolest thing we did was at Angel Island, when we made the kids run after us. Robin has pretty good endurance for a 14 year smoker. O_O But it's probably from his childhood because he was supposedly on a few sports teams. Robin was like a breath of fresh air for me at work because naturally, I can talk to older guys pretty easily, and he's Chinese. Robin isn't really an adult to me, so thats what made him different than Linda. I enjoyed digging into his life even if he didn't want to share. I think he eventually gave in, because he told me that he was 34. w00t. So the quick recap about Robin is a cool 34 year old motorcycle riding male that smokes like crazy. Shit, I need to make some older friends, because I need some of that maturity to rub off on me. Although, Robin really is just a little kid. So it's Linda that I really learned from. NEvertheless, I'm going to miss them both SOoo much. I better be able to keep in touch with both of them. Linda probably easier than Robin, unless Robin becomes unlazy and emails me someday. NAH. So I guess I hope they have a nice life and maybe our paths will cross again someday.

Summer is coming to an end, so I have to get cracking on the books for summer reading. I hope I can adjust back to school mode.

EDIT
I went to Costco with my dad to print out some digital pictures. w00t. So on Thursday, I printed out 14 pictures for $10. Today, I printed out 128 pictures for 27 dollars. BIZNATCH eh? Oh well it's all good, I got loads of cheap pictures at least.
