Talking to a wall

Everything and everyone, myself included, has been falling short of my expectations. I feel like this isn't as good as life gets; there has to be more.

I hate the feeling when you're talking to someone and it feels like there's no one on the receiving end. Physically, the conversation is seemingly endless, but that's the problem-- it's pointless and tiresomely long. I feel like that's the only kind of conversation I've been having lately. The main problem is that I expect more from this person. I guess that's what I get for setting my standards higher than usual.

This week has been a lonely one, but I'm the only one to blame. Without money, there isn't anything fun to do anyway.

I let myself get into this slump and I'm not doing everything in my ability to get out of it. I'm hoping and praying to have some fun this weekend. Maybe I can even get out of San Francisco this weekend. J.oei can legally drive us starting Friday. I want to go paintballing! dang it
