The old C&B gang were hanging out again. It was some big celebration. We were at a hot pot/ sushi buffet in the Richmond but the thing is, the good was actually good. We were all going back to Balboa near my house, and I didn't want to take the bus, so Cliff, Eric, and I just wandered towards the bus stop hoping that one of our friends with cars would come pick us up. I was walking to the bus stop on 3rd and Geary because the Limited bus stopped there when Nick Honda's car passes me. My eyes widen and I run across the yellow light. Eric and Cliff were already in the car! I jump in, say hi to everyone and I ask Nick, "Hey is that your dog?" He wasn't paying attention to what I was looking at, so he absentmindedly replied, "No." As his mom is driving us back to his house on 33rd ave, I figure out that the thing that looked like a dog was his little sister dressed up in a really furry coat. She turned around and smiled at me and she was just the cutest thing in the world. After that, I paid attention to Nick's mom's driving. She was insane. I thought it was weird that the steering wheel was on the right side, but I figured she must be some hardcore racer since she was manuvering expertly through the terrible traffic. We got to his house within 10 minutes. I'm about to get out of the car, but something tickles my lower back. It's Nick, tickling me with his dog. (wtf where the hell did his dog come from?)
Cliff and Eric, continuing the trend, abandoned me in Nick's car and had already sprinted down the hill on 36th and met the rest of the gang up. I had to walk down the scary bushes and trees by myself. But thankgoodness Eliza passes. She stole her mom's car for the night. I jumped into the passenger seat, and we look for parking. It got really cold all of a sudden, so she pulled out her scarf and glove from her (ironically) glove compartment. I had a bag all of all of a sudden, and I pull out a wool scarf and my mittens. I also had a fleece scarf and a fleece pair of gloves that I was thinking about bringing to Bonnie and Tracy, but I decided against it after Fran called me and told me it was "hella hot" outside.
We couldn't find parking because all the sidewalks were fenced in for construction. We were thinking about kicking those fences down....
And wake up to the sound of my phone vibrating. My mom woke me up 1 hour and 30 minutes after she was supposed to.
