Watches
Most people don't know this, but I love watches. For a while, I tried to collect plastic watches, but I haven't been back to China in two years, so I haven't been able to buy the kind of watches I like at the price I like.
My favorite watch in the whole wide world was my astro boy watch, but I lost it during the beginning of senior year. Since then, I've sort of unconciously boycotted the wearing of watches because I still can't get over losing the best watch ever.
On the wall by my window in my room, I have all these plastic watches hanging from thumbtacks. I have one set to Guang Dong time because it was the watch I wore in China. Wait, it was working last week, but it's not working right now. :( Well, I guess it's not that special then because I used to look at when I was awake doing hw in the middle of the night and think to myself that my relatives in China are awake or something.
I wanted to go back to China this summer, but I can't, so it also means I won't be getting any plastic watches. Man, I was planning to get another Astro Boy watch, too... maybe a few. :(
I'm need to replace my watch. I actually hate using my phone for time. It's just such a hassle to take it out of my pocket and I hate the fact that I might drop my phone and break it every time I check the time.
Time is kind of facinating to me. It's just strange how time sometimes passes really quickly without you even knowing but feels like a really long time when you're bored.
I want time to pass more quickly because I'm ready to graduate.
