Last days of SAT class

Of all the times to let my body get sick, I just have to let it be the first time I leave the damn country. Yesterday, I woke up with a sore throat and thought nothing of it. Today is the second day in a row where I woke up with a burning throat. I haven't been drinking as much water as usual because I'm too lazy to refill my water bottle. I shouldn't have slept so early this morning... I set over 4 alarms to wake me up early enough to eat lunch before leaving my house, but I woke up at 1:25. What the hell? I have such bad habits.

In class today, I was tired and zoned out by the white board. I felt disrespectful because my teacher, Mr. Keim, is a really cool guy. We only have him once a week, so he has a lot of work to do with us. My math scores have skyrocketed because his classes. On top of that, he's really cool to talk to too. It's too bad that he only teaches us once a week because I'd love to chit chat with him more. After class, I went to remind Mel that tomorrow would be my last day. But before I could say anything, she was sitting there waiting for me with my progress report, screaming praise in my direction. Fine, I exaggerated a little, but she said my overall score looked great. However, she did notice that my critical reading and writing scores have wavered instead of continuously growing stronger.

The people working at Elite are really chill and nice. Prior to my first class, I only felt the wrath of their disorganization. But after things were up and running, I felt more than happy to spend 3.5 hours there in that cramped little classroom. I like the fact that both the director and the secretary know your name. They both greet me when I walk through the door. I think the learning environment plays a big part in how you progress in a class. I was able to get something out of each class because I didn't hate going to class every day.

What I did hate was taking the bus every single day and having the same bus driver scowl at me as I boarded the 38 Limited bus. I talk as if it's all behind me even though I have one more day left.

I remember Randolf telling me that at Elite, you don't just learn how to take the test, but you also gain knowledge applicable in other areas of academics. He's definitely righttt. Elite was definitely money well-spent this summer. I plan to take winter boot camp to give myself a little review before I take the test.
