Post APUSH Exam relief

I don't think I've ever worked so hard or studied for much for any class before APUSH. My motivation definitely stems from having Schwarz as my teacher, and I want to secretly thank him through my blog for making me like something/someone enough to study for that class.

Honestly, I thought the multiple choice section of the test was the easiest part. Although there were at least a dozen questions I wasn't confident about, I still think it was nothing compared to the first final I had in APUSH. Of course, I'd be breaking the college board contract if I say anything else about the multiple choice section, but I'm confident that I got less than 15 wrong, which means that I faired pretty well on that part of the exam. The questions were actually vaguely similar to quiz questions we've had in Schwarz, so bless him for that. xP

Is it bad for me to attribute all my confidence and possible success to Schwarz? Didn't I after work hard and study my ass off before this test? I don't know... His class is ultimately the reason I worked hard, but should I be betlittling my efforts? Will that affect my own self confidence?

The DBQ and FRQ was hard though. I've never been good at essays and the fact that I can never remmeber facts makes it hard for me to back up my generalizations. There were supposedly three parts to the DBQ questions, but I can't even remember what they are. -_- But I wrote three pages and I think I brought up some good points! Hopefully that gets me a 5 or 6. My FRQs were hopeless causes. I don't think it's a fair evaluation of your knowledge of APUSH because after a multiple choice section and a 45 minute essay, I just couldn't concentrate on the FRQs. The questions were hard to me because I blanked out at a few parts and had to rush to add things in my essay afterwards. It's really hit or miss for those because if I got the time period wrong for one of them, it's over! Ah well.

Now for the funnier parts of the day:
I got my period on the car ride to school. HAHA. WTF I was so upset. But iono. I had to poo at Michael's house and ask his mom for pads. But Michael's mom's pads didn't stick to my underwear, so I had to ask someone else for pads. Then, I had to run to the bathroom to put the pad on. I was sort of late.

When I got to the line, I realized, OH CRAP I have my cell phone with me! So I had to walk over and ask Mr. Schwarz to hold my phone for me. I think I was one of the only people who forgot to leave their cell phones elsewhere. haha. He said he was going to call Taiwan, so I took out my sim card. Yeah, I know he wasn't going to call, but in case he's a stupid nosey curious kid like me, I didn't want him to look through my phone. ha ha.

I feel really liberated right now, but I have SAT II US tomorrow, and I have a psych final on monday and the AP Psych test to take on Wednesday.

On the car ride back, I felt so incredibly tired. My whole body felt paralyzed, and I realized that my adrenaline levels must be going down. I have to be sure not to get sick in these few hours or else I'm screwed.

But APUSH exam is over and I don't really know if I feel relieved. It's not Alice Paul damn it. That's one down. fuck. I can't wait until July for my score.

I guess the way I would describe my APUSH exam experience is surreal. I don't know why, but I can't believe it's over. The whole experience wasn't traumatizing or anything, but I feel like it shouldn't be over it; it just can't be. And part of me is still waiting for the day it's all finally over. Maybe it's because class still continues, but the material is effectively over, and I still think there's more coming. I mean, if each new day is another day added to history, how can we possibly learn it all? If Schwarz lectures more after this, I think I would want to take notes just out of habit. But because I fear the screams of fellow classmates, I would conform and refrain from writing.

The exhaustion phase seems to be kicking in. Stupid general adaptation syndrome. Sleeeeeep!
