Word hard, Party even harder?
For the first time this year in college, I actually spent an entire weekend just hanging out and exploring some of the finer things that Berkeley has to offer. I definitely appreciate Berkeley more after this weekend.
I learned that no matter what, I'll never finish my work in a timely manner. Even if I did not hang out with friends this weekend, I probably would not have accomplished much of anything. I would not have watched webcasts, worked on my paper, or done anything remotely productive. Considering my history of wasting time on weekends, I probably would have watched hours and hours of mindless television instead of going out to enjoy the beautiful weather we've been having lately.
With that said, however, I have 7 hours of webcast to watch before my final tomorrow, a homework assignment due in Stats, a Stats quiz to study for, and a four page essay draft due for peer editing in English tomorrow. Even if I stayed up all night, I wouldn't be able to finish simply because there are not enough hours left before class tomorrow to finish. That's sad. I always feel like I'm getting punished.
But that is no way to think! Despite this seemingly insurmountable pile of work in front of me, I'm feeling a little invincible. I BELIEVEEEeeeee!!
I really need to write in this blog again because my English is going to shits. My essay grades have gotten progressively lower and I think I am facing a high decrease in my GPA because of my English grades. :(
Watching Poli Sci webcasts is fun, but leaving them to the last minute is preventing me from fully enjoying the material I am learning. This is why college students do not learn-- not enough time to learn.
I partied hard, so now it is time to haul ass.
