Gradual shift back to school mode
With only a little over two days until classes resume once again, I've finally been able to crack a whip on myself and get to work. I have about 80 pages left on my first book, Franny and Zooey, most of which I read in one sitting this evening. Basically, I read for approximately two hours, then took a break to clean up my closet a bit. I just finished hanging up all my jackets and hoodies in addition to replacing all the bounce dryer sheets I keep on each hanger to keep my clean clothes smelling fresh. In no means am I bragging, but I really did lose enough fat (or maybe muscle) in China to fit a lot of my old clothes. It's uncanny how pants from middle school can fit my fat ass once again. I feel like I just saved myself a bunch of money. :]
I'm in one of those moods to clean up my entire room and reorganize everything. However, I must get back to reading in about 6 minutes. I hate keeping myself on a strict time limitation, but if this is what it takes to get things done, so be it. I'm kind of hyped up about going into arena this Monday. This time, I'm going into arena knowing where each department is set up. Thanks to the handy map Karen beautifully drew, I'll have no problem rushing to the so called "priority tables" on my list. It's ironic that I haven't actually planned any schedules yet.. I'm not sure if I even want to. This is my fourth time in arena and I'm only picking an hour and five minutes earlier than my first time there. I'm smack dab in the middle, which means a lot of classes temporarily close while I'm there, and it'll be crowded as hell. Nevertheless, I'm still pretty happy about school starting. The faster it starts, the quicker the year will be over.
This year, I'm more concerned about my appearance. I'm going into this year trying to not be the lazy scum-bag that I portrayed myself to be in my first two years in highschool. My goal this year is to prioritize. Here's how it goes: School, health, family, sleep, friends, happiness, Chinese culture/language, and vocabulary/syntax/diction.
It was a great summer while it lasted.

Haha. I'm glad that map helped you! I drew it on Cindy's request. =)
I've had a mental image of the arena etched in my mind since our first visit. I guess obsessing over picking near the end really traumatized me! xP
