I finally reloaded my old playlist of about 1013 random mp3s. Before today, I've been listening to entire albums at a time instead of putting a long list of music on shuffle. I was in Norm's car the other day and as I was looking through his entire stocked spindle of CDs, I found a Savage Garden CD. Wow was I impressed. Like me, he has an ecclectic collection of music. Stumbling upon a Savage Garden CD reminded me of my Elementary school days! I actually only remember 5th grade clearly; every pre-fifth-grade memory is jumbled together and hard to distinguish. The reason I remember 5th grade so clearly is because I'm still friends with the posse I called my friends back then. Thinking about it amuses me so much.
Every time I reminisce about my 5th grade days, I always ask myself, "how is it possible that we were such wannabes?" If you ask any of my friends, Kristie, Shannon, Kristen, Eliza, Connie, Cj, they would admit to being wannabes back in our grade school days. The one memory that stands out beyond the rest is when Shannon and Eliza took studio pictures. HAHA. WANNABE? Fashofasho. What's even more pathetic is that I wanted to take pictures with them, too! I was actually upset that I wasn't invited to join them. However, later that summer, or early 6th grade, we did take studios. Presently, I don't understand our previous insistance to be/act older than our age. Why was it so cool to be older? My only hypothesis is that being older is often related to being "cool."
The other thing I always think of is how we all recycled our crushes amongst each other. The boys we liked were Jason, Steven, Nick Alex Ng, Bob, and Johnson Wong, if I remember correctly. I think I've only liked Jason and Steven. The other boys were the other girls' property. The odd thing is that I hardly talk to those boys anymore. I'm not sure who still does. Maybe Eliza still kicks it with them once in a while.
Damn, I got interrupted during this entry so I have nothing else to say. Possible continuation another day.
