It's only been two days of school and I'm already dying

That last entry was just for Karen to read and reply to. HAHA.

School has officially begun and my already-minimal social life is now nonexistant. It feels as if this school year is the continuation of sophomore year, except with more work and less breaks. This year I'm taking 5 BC code classes, meaning I have straight classes until my 8-9-10 lunch break, and then classes until the school day ends. I've never had that kind of schedule before, so it's taking time for me to adjust. The reason this year feels like a continuation of last year is that I'm already ridiculously loaded with work and already feeling too tired and worn out for it to only be the second day of school. I feel only hatred towards school at the moment, but I'm pretty satisfied with my teachers. For the first time ever, I'm dreading the learning aspects of school. I can only imagine that my load of school work will build consistantly, leaving no room for slacking off this year. I really must learn the art of concentration instead of specializing in procrastination, like I normally do.

So far, my favorite class is AP Psychology. Although it is my first class in the morning, I think I'm the most wide awake in that class. My teacher is really lively and teaches in such a fun way that I can't help but feel excited about the class, even at 7:35 in the morning. The people in my class are all very willing to participate, so I'm hoping their energy will die down so I have a chance to raise my hand and score some participation points every once in a while.

Chinese is my next favorite class simply because I'm learning a lot. My teacher is moving very fast because the first two weeks are supposed to be reviews of things we were supposed to learn during the last two years of Chinese. She knows we all had some crappy ass teachers, so she's nice enough to go through everything with us. :) I wish she was a little more personal with our class though. She seems like a reserved, all-business and no play kind of teacher. I'm fine with that since I need a disciplinarian for a Chinese teacher so I'll actually work hard.

Currently, English class is the most disappointing academic class I've taken at Lowell. I'm no longer in honors, and I don't feel like I'll be learning very much this year. Oh well. But on top of not being in an intellectually stimulating class, I feel as though my teacher thinks we're all idiots. She talks to us as if we're middle schoolers, and I don't think she even realizes it. She seems like a very nice person and I like her personality, but I wish she wouldn't patronize us so much. Perhaps I shouldn't make so many judgements so early in the semester, but I just don't look forward to that class. Thank goodness it's an A code class. HEHEHE

I really only blogged for the sake of blogging. In the past years, I've always written about my first week of school, so I thought I'd continue the tradition.

I still miss the hell out of Norm and thinking about my China trip makes me feel not-so-happy. Edward did call me today, which I was very happy about, but we both had to rush off to do homework. Natasha also gave me a call during my nap so I was only able to concentrate long enough for a five minute chat. I really miss seeing her too. She was so nice to me, like a big sister that I never had.

Okay, time to concentrate on my English homework

Haha. I feel so special. =)

Thank God we got everything figured out for Chinese Club over the summer because I don't see how any of us would be able to handle all the responsibility now. Although we anticipated Junior year to be "tough", I didn't expect it to get this overwhelming so quickly!
