Technology rant, yeah another one.

I don't know why it's so hard for my brothers and I to communicate on ANY subject matter. We're all hot heads who like to interrupt each other and because of that, we seemingly devalue each others' opinions. Or at least that's the way I feel. I hate when any one of my brothers talks continuously and making comments without any evidence to back up his statements. It's really annoying, and I've noticed that I've picked up on that habit as well. I like to talk and talk really fast so I can get my arguement out without losing my train of thought. The result is that I take up the entire conversation so that no else gets to talk because I already said everything that needs to be said.

I'm switching to a new network and getting a new phone, so of course there has to be miscommunication and a small fight between me and my brothers. It's so frustrating when you have to listen to what two people have to say. My brothers all have totally opposite personalities and opnions on things, so who am I supposed to listen to? If I listen to one person, then I might be disobeying the other. It happens everytime. There's miscommunication every time. I can't wait until I'm old enough to get a credit card, get financial aid, get a job, and handle my own finances so i don't have to deal with their opinions on stupid matters like a freaking cell phone.

It's so depressing to think about how I talk but never get heard. How many times do I have to tell one of them that I want the Samsung A900? How many times before I get so angry that I burst into tears? How many times do I have to tell them that I've looked at all the networks and the phones that they offer?

On the other hand, however, I would not have a relationship with any of my siblings if we didn't have to deal with things like cell phones and internet. That's pathetic.

I don't know how this entry turned into something about my family, but I intended to write about how confusing cell phone specifications are these days!

Cell phones that can go online at DSL speeds... wow. I didn't even know that they existed until today! But the downside to all these technological advances as well as the super thin Razr-like designs is the CRAPPY-ass battery life. The phone I'm planning to get has really bad battery life, but its features are slightly cooler than the Razr which does not have a built in mp3 player or a flash on the camera. If worse comes to worse, I'll buy a spare battery or carry a charger with me where ever I go. I'm tired of settling for phones I hate/find asthetically unappealing.
