Can it really be considered senioritis when I've had this problem all throughout high school? I just have those days when I don't want to do shit and just sit in front of the computer reading blogs and watching video clips. In the end, because I'm a big fat pussy, I do the work and sacrifice my sleep. I wake up the next morning feeling grumpy and the day ends up kind of lame.
Like, why do I do that?
I just don't learn, do I?
As strange as it sounds, I really want to keep in touch with a handful of my teachers after I graduate. Like my Chinese teacher for example, she's just SUCH a cool person. My econ teacher described her as someone who can find good in anyone and is always ALWAYS willing to give people the benefit of the doubt and even a second chance when they screw up. For a person who is pretty traditionally Chinese, she totally mixes it up with Western culture and is just always full of surprises. Working with her through CC allowed her to see that I'm a trustworthy person, which I think made her even nicer to me when I got to her class this year. And ultimately, I guess, she's just one of the coolest people in the world. A teacher-friend with that... respect me because i'm your elder vibe going on. Damn that was incoherent and I hope I can understand this in the future.
Student-teacher dynamics are always different I suppose. But I hope I have friends who grow up to be as interesting and amiable as some of the teachers I've had at Lowell. Jeez, I seriously hope I find someone to talk with about politics (my pathetic, minimal grasp of politics at least), technology, and just random shit I find interesting.
I'm one of those annoying ass kids that wants to "educate" everyone whenever I find out a random cool fact. I can't help it. I know when I'm doing it and I realize it is annoying, but I usually want to burst when I try to hold it in. It's like.. wannabe want-to-know-it-alll syndrome or some shit.
