I've been thinking seriously about an alternative career: CHEF?!
Admittedly, I've been watching marathons of Food Network (Dinner: Impossible, Throwdown, Iron Chef, etc) and Top Chef, and watching those shows makes me really wish I could go to culinary school and become an awesome chef. I'm pretty sure everyone watches Food Network and thinks that, but I genuinely love cooking for my friends. It might be the satisfaction I might get when I watch them eat everything I made and tell me what I made was "pretty good," but I'm sure I could get the same kind of satisfaction from praise under other circumstances. I don't know... I can't explain it. I really feel at peace in the kitchen more than anywhere else. I love blasting my music and chopping up my onions and garlic. And in a really strange way, I love that my eyes tear up like crazy when I mince my garlic. Seriously though, why does garlic make me cry?!
How cool would it to be able to be a food critic? I'd become a fat ass, but how does one get into that profession? Do I need to get a degree journalism, then go to culinary school, then get a job at some magazine and become a food critic?! ahhhh
Too bad everyone probably has these dreams...
Why does Olive Garden have a school in Tuscany? They have some seriously disgusting and oily food... so I always assumed they didn't even hire a real chef! wth?
How come the Bachelor is so freaking romantic? It doesn't even make sense! There are so many women there! What a lucky bastard. All stunning women.
I wonder how many people stay together from reality tv dating shows.

"Step 9. Do something else professionally while being a food critic. Food critics usually don't last more than five years."
