I think I'm back to being broody and angsty Anna. Kind of sucks..

Today was a busy ass day. I can't remember the last time actually wrote about the various events that took place during my day, but I will for today since it was fun, or it could have been if my brain interpreted situations differently

At around 1 am, Oscar, the Brit that had a little ;) ;) with Roxana IMed me on MSN and that was quite a plesant surprise. In addition to talking to Eliza, I was staying up late to chat a little with him. That left me with about four hours of sleep before Chinese school later in the day. I ended up waking up earlier than usual (ironic eh?) but because I showered, I was as late as I normally am. Chinese class is stupid. I'm in my junior year of highschool and I can hardly read and write. I'm perfectly happy to learn Chinese, but I can't put Chinese high on my list of priorities at the moment, so I'd rather sleep instead of waking up early to go to class.

After class, Dennis drove me to the beach where I met up with Lone and a bunch of friends for Lone's birthday shindig. It was nice to see everyone for the first time after China. I only stopped by for a while then headed over to Ninh's house to pick up condiments for the BBQ. Anny and Edmond drove over to Ninh's place to pick me up and then Anny took me over to my house to pick up chicken skewers and plates. We got to the picnic place in GGP and started cooking. A bunch of people were late, so it was weak at first. Because we were all under the impression that no one else would show up, I asked Edmond if I could invite my friends. He said I could, and Jon, Adam, Jordan, Sam, Nick, Chris, and Tony ended up coming. They helped us eat some food and just chilled for a while. More China people showed up, and everyone was eating and all that good stuff. It was pretty fun I guess. The weather could have been better, but I was just happy to be able to bring everyone together again.

In all honesty, I had a shitty time. As a whole, the entire day just wasn't what I expected. Although, I don't actually know what I expected from today. I didn't talk to anyone I wanted to talk to and things just didn't go as smoothly as I expected. But in some ways, it went better than I anticipated! WTF. I don't make any sense, but I'm just feeling miserable right now. I came home and just collapsed into my computer chair. I'm bored and not in the mood for homework quite yet.

I hate it when I have a good day, and then when I come home and reflect on my day, I discover that I have so many unpleasant feelings associated with my memories of the day. It's way too early in the year to sulk and bitch about life so I won't continue on this subject.
