Today was the first time I didn't blow dry my hair after showering since I was in China. Drops of water are dripping all over my clothes. In China, my hair would dry in two seconds because of the heat. But because of the humidity, it would also poof up and make me look like a beast.

The memorable things that occur in my life don't seem to stand out anymore. Before I went to China, I never experienced life outside of California or a plane ride. When I got back it was so exciting for me to announce to the world that I went to China and that I've been on an airplane. Now, those things don't excite me. In fact, if someone asks me if I've been on a plane or out of California, I think "no" first, then realize that I have experienced those things. I hate how all of it seems so far away. It's astonishing how easy it is to forget fun times when you're preoccupied with various activities that you mindlessly perform each and every day.

I don't think it's fair how I feel my memories of summer leaking out of my brain... I miss my entire trip. I miss the heat, the humidity, the people, the places.. just all of it. I'd give anything to just go back for one day and shop and eat and go sight seeing.
