I seriously wish that I learned how to swim earlier in my life. Not only would my life be easier now, but it's just really fun to splash around in water and kind of bounce around all over. I love that feeling after you get out of the pool, shower, and get into dry clothes. The natural high you get from "exercising" (if you can consider my pathetic attempts to swim as exercise) lingers for a good hour or so before the skin gets dry and tight from the chlorine.

Another thing is that I wish I took ceramics earlier in high school. I love love LOVE ceramics and scuplting and getting my hands dirty with clay. I mostly like making functional pieces with a twist because I want to make fun looking vessels that can hold my pens. That's what its all about... making things to hold my pens. haha

When you use clay, there's almost always a way to salvage the piece. I love that about clay. And I love that I can make really big pieces with general shapes or be really careful and detailed in every little pinch.

Ending my high school years with an art class gives me hope to discover new interests in college.

I'm having trouble deciding whether or not to cut my hair this weekend. Honestly, it's getting kind of unmanageable and puffy, but I want to grow my hair out at least until prom. Damn it, why do i have to have so much hair?!

tangent...

I'm a listener. Although I love to talk and talk when I actually have something to say, I really enjoy listening to someone lecture about history and politics. I lingered after AP Gov't today to listen to Schwarz explain some stuff about Islam in Iran to the guy that sits in front of me in class. I'm not exactly sure what my facial expression is when I'm listening, but I think it creeped Schwarz out because he kept glancing at me with that almost raised eyebrow. I just like to listen because listening is one of the best ways to learn things. How can I talk if I don't know anything right? So I listen and listen until I feel like I can actually form my opinion on stuff and then I talk my ass off. I think I'm attentive...

I think it sucks that teachers force kids to participate in class. Some kids are listeners straight up. They listen and they actually learn the stuff. It's not fair to force people who have a specific learning style to change and do "interactive" discussions. eh I dunno.

My cousins are coming to SF in April for my cousin Tommy's wedding. Horray!! I'm so excited to see my cousins so soon.
