Nosy, Curious, or Caring?
If two people are going out, I can totally understand why they would keep it a secret. People can be cruel and the exposure can sabotage a relationship. I get that.
But, since I'm either really nosy or just naturally curious, I can also sympathize with the people who just "always have to know" about everything that goes on.
I don't think I've ever answered a question with "it's none of your business" unless I was trying to defend another person who couldn't think of a fast enough response. I'm pretty quick on my feet or at the very least, good at brushing off awkward topics. People can inquire more when I answer with ambiguous replies, and they damn right should when they're given half-assed answers.
So what I don't understand is why some people just don't care about other people's lives. The only conclusion I can come up with is that they just don't care enough. I, on the other hand, care about everything. So much, in fact, that every single freaking thing affects me in some way or another. Yeah, another more straight-forward way to describe it is that I'm overly sensitive about everything. I'm working on that though... I really am.
Now that I think about it, I'm really really insensitive about asking inappropriate questions... All teenagers are, to some extent, but I blurt out with the most random questions.
"Why is your arm so hairy?"
"Does your family have a history of heart disease?"
"Why do you have that kind of accent?"
Seriously, I must not have a very developed pre-frontal lobe because I just impulsively blurt things out all the time.
I won't say I'll stop though, because I just really like to know specific things about people. I think that's the only way you'll really know people.. You just gotta know all the nuances about the people you care about.
People are mean.

haha no social filter. no i'm kidding
i know what you mean
you know what i like about a secret relationship? i'm sure we've gone over this before. i think a secret relationship is kind of romantic. i don't know why. but i'll tell you one thing i probably won't be able to keep one up. cause it's like okay but i have to tell anna. and so and so and blahblahblahblah blah the next thing you know the whole world knows.
anywho. i never considered that some people want to know just to know for no particular reason. but from now on whatever you ask i'll try to answer without question. i think. if i haven't been doing that already. and also if i don't forget.
and people aren't mean. not all of them.
